  1. When/Where will my gift be delivered?
  2. Registrants can see shipping information in their Felicite account including: gift giver, gift bought, date purchased, and shipping tracking number in the Purchases section of their registry.

Where: Some of our merchants will only ship gifts to the Registrant's address; other merchants will allow the Gift Giver to supply a different shipping address.  Gift Givers will be given an address option during checkout; if no address option is given the gift will be shipped directly to the Registrant

When: Registrants have the option of specifying when they wish to receive gifts.  For example a Registrant can designate shipping "black-out" dates if they are going to be on honeymoon or perhaps they do not want gifts until after the birth of a baby.  The default delivery period for manually ordered items is 1-2 weeks prior to the Event Date.   If they prefer, a Registrant, and only a Registrant can ask Felicite to manually order items right away.

More information about the gift and merchant is also given in the email receipts from Felicite.  Please contact merchant directly if you have questions about shipping. -back to top

  3. How much does it cost to Register?
  4. Registration is free! It cost nothing to sign up for a Felicite Gift Registry. We make our money by charging merchants a commisson for selling their goods and through affiliate programs. -back to top

  5. How much do you charge Gift Givers?
  6. For physical gifts we charge gift givers shipping and tax which varies depending on the merchant, the type of product, and where the gift is being shipped. Where we do not have an explicit agreement with the merchant over shipping charges, the shipping is based upon our past experience with sending orders to the merchant.

If the Gift Giver is making a Partial Purchase they will be charged a proportionate amount of tax and shipping based on the contribution.  For example if they are contributing half of the cost of the gift they will be charged half the amount of shipping and tax.

For Cash Gifts, Gift Givers are charged a 4.9% transaction fee when they make a contribution. For example, if a gift giver contributes $100 to your honeymoon fund, they will be charged $104.90 and $100.00 will be credited to your account.

Registrants can press the Settle Registry button in their account to get a check for their account balance. Registrants can see their Account Balance in the Purchaseses section of their registry. The check amount is totaled on the last day of the month and checks are sent via US Mail during the first week of the month.  Checks are made out to the Registrant name(s) as listed in their account and mailed to the address on their account. Please allow 10-15 days for your check to arrive.

If you want to see exactly what gift givers are being charged pretend you are a gift giver buying a gift.  You will see the total before we ask for credit card information.  If you are concerned about shipping and tax rates consider listing the item as a Cash Gift that way you can buy the item from the merchant yourself. -back to top

  9. What's the difference between Felicite Member Merchant and an Approved Merchant?
  10. Felicite.com is a gift registry network made up of many merchants. Member merchants are stores that have joined Felicite and use Felicite software to manage their gift registry. Usually member merchants have placed Felicite Add to Registry buttons on their website.  A list of Felicite Member Merchant stores can be found here. Felicite Member Merchant stores are also listed in bold green on the Felicite.com home page.  Felicite automatically sends gift orders to member merchant stores. If you have a question about an order from a member merchant store feel free to contact that store directly for the latest shipping info.

Registrants can see Felicite Approved Merchants in the Store drop down selection on the manual Gift List Form within the Gift List section of the registry.  Manually fill out the gift list form within your registry to add items from Approved Merchants. Approved Merchants are also listed in blue on the on the Felicite.com home page.  Felicite ordering department will manually order gifts from Approved Merchants to arrive 1-2 weeks prior to a registry event date unless otherwise instructed by Registrants.

(More about Approved Merchants and Member Merchants can be found here.)

If a gift you want is not avalable from Member Merchants or Approved Merchants you can list it as Cash Gift. With Cash Gift we'll collect the funds for you and send you a check, then you can buy the item from the merchant directly. -back to top
